Dr. John Utz is married to Dani Utz and is the father of three grown children and nine grandchildren. He is retired a medical physician.
John was born in December 1939 in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Ohio State University Medical School receiving his medical degree in 1965 and then doing his Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from 1970 to 1973. Following his graduation from medical school he served on active duty with the United States Navy as a lieutenant from 1966 to 1968 and then with the Navy Reserve to 1973. He actively practiced medicine from 1973 to 1996 in Tucson, Arizona.
John is a dedicated Christian receiving Christ into his life in January 1975. He has served in various capacities with many professional, community and Christian organizations. He is the present Vice President and director of the Heartbeat for Africa Foundation Board of Directors.
